Tepha currently occupies about 30,000 square feet of R&D, manufacturing, and office space in Lexington, MA; where conversion of Tepha’s biomaterials into fabricated components and devices, such as fibers, films, and tubes, typically takes place. At present, most devices and components are produced from the TephaFLEX biomaterial by melt-processing techniques at the Lexington facility. Tepha is equipped to produce TephaFLEX monofilament fiber in a range of sizes for its suture and mesh products.
Tepha also has the capability to produce TephaFLEX multifilament fiber, polymer tubing, and thin films; and the Company also has melt-blown textiles and electrospun fabrics, among other technologies, under development.
